Through the Years: Remembering 1961-1989
Over 1,750,000 visitors have passed through our doors since opening on November 4, 1962. So many people have touched the Museum in a personal way, I wish all could be represented here. Our next issue will feature the last 29 years, 1990-2019. Our founder Joseph F. Lizzadro saw 10 years of the Museum’s existence, his family continues to carry on his legacy. As our plans to re-open in
Oak Brook progress, we will remain open in Elmhurst through the end of May 2019.
Best wishes this Holiday Season,
Dorothy Asher
Director

Dear Patrons,
Construction on the new Museum in Oak Brook is underway! When the Museum closes in Elmhurst we expect a down period before reopening in Oak Brook. We will continue sending you our e-newsletters and updates a s we move along in the process. There will be opportunities for naming rights of new exhibit cases and certain areas in the new building. If you are interested in donating, please contact the Museum for more information on how your contribution can be used in the new facility. I look forward to keeping in touch with our members and patrons in the coming months. We will be sending our Winter Calendar of programs and events in December. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at dasher@lizzadromuseum.org.
Sincerely,
Dorothy Asher
