Join us for a presentation by Field Museum paleontologist, Dr. Paul Meyer. His work focuses on fossils from the Chicago area Silurian reef, Milwaukee area Devonian fossils, and Mazon Creek. The fossils tell a story of how the Midwest was covered by tropical seas and the animals that lived here millions of years ago. See how digitizing the Field Museum’s collection is making information and images available online through funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
