Spirito Singers’ high school treble ensemble, Bravura, is thrilled to present Where the Light Begins, a concert that tells the story of hope in the face of grief and joy in the face of despair. It will feature music from around the globe and across the centuries. Bravura singers hail from dozens of communities across Chicagoland, and the ensemble has performed with the Joffrey Ballet, the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest, and at Carnegie Hall.

Join professional harpist Janelle Lake and Rebecca Anderson for an hour of relaxing and engaging harp music on two harps. Explore how Chicagoland has become the harp capital of the world through harp craftsmanship history. Lake and Anderson will play works by Salzedo, Hasselmans, Gershwin, Debussy, and more.

Miles will share some stories of the American banjo, its complex history, and wide array of sounds and styles. He will be joined by cellist Jill Kaeding with whom he will share his latest compositions and renderings of J.S. Bach.
