If the beads are silver or gold tone, they are usually brass with a vermeil coating. Many of the Pearls are freshwater, but some are mother of pearl. If they are perfectly round, they usually are mother of pearl which is 100% pearl, but not naturally grown.

The ear wires are 24k white gold vermeil. The brass looking ones are brass. All Sea Lily jewelry items are 100% nickel, lead, and cadmium free. Each one has been tested and meet all CA Prop 65 standards.
