Description
Picasso Stone was formed during prehistoric times when lava mixed with limestone. The colors and unique patterning result from magma being forced through fractures in the limestone, coloring the stone grey or tan streaks, and black lines. The combination of inter-twinning blacks, browns, and tans look much like a Picasso painting. Most Picasso stone comes from Utah.
